- Why are you a Trustee for GCF?
- Basil Woodhouse spoke to me during one of our meetings at the Mission Press in Durban and told me about GCF. He invited me to Pietermaritzburg to meet with him and the former Chairperson of GCF. They asked me for my business background which I shared with them and there after I was informed by Basil that they would like me to be part of GCF trustees. I did not hesitate, I felt it in me that I can contribute by being part of this organisation.

- What is your background?
- I worked for 19 years at South Africa’s telecommunications company (TELKOM) worked through the ranks from 1984 till 2002. After resigning in 2002 I felt I had gained enough experience to start my own company. I am a sole director of Bongmusa Holdings PTY LTD a family business established in 2002 by two brothers Bongi and Musa. In 2008 we decided to split the company into two segments Transport and Construction I remained with transport and my brother moved to construction. The company is still running successfully up until now despite lockdown challenges and Glory be to God. I am married to Pam and we are blessed with three children two boys and one girl.
- What are the values that drive you?
- I am a very purpose driven person I value and respect every person that I come across because I strongly believe that God made people in his own image and all people were born for a reason. Family orientated and God fearing.
- What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
- I like travelling during Holidays. I like watching sport on TV particularly soccer both local and international, I like going to gym or jogging whenever possible.
